Check out my top 15 international destinations I want to take our son, Noah, to before he is 18. To some, these places may not seem kid friendly because they do not have a Disney World or museums, but for us...its all about nature and culture.
I do not envision all of our family vacations being in one place. For instance, every year always go to the Outer Banks and only there. Ideally, I would like to spend weekends at our "favorite, traditional spot" plus take international trips yearly. When Noah turn 18 and Josh and I send him off into the world, I want to be confident that he knows how to navigate outside of his realm. So, by providing the earth as his playground we will create ample opportunities to teach him, guide him, and show him the ways of the world.
I want Noah to know the different economic situations in the world, so he realizes how great he has it in the United States. I want him to see first hand the historical monuments that he learns about in history class. And when he takes marine biology, I want him to be able to know all the names of the seashells before hand from us shell collecting all over the world.
