Italy Photo Diary

ITALY PHOTO DIARY

It has been years since I have been to Italy, but only seconds since I last thought about the beautiful country.  Unfortunately, when I went the level of technology was not where it is today so majority of my photos have disappeared.  I went through my college history class with about 15 other girls and we started out in Rome, then to Venice, from there to Florence, and then a couple of small towns to ultimately take a ferry to Greece.  It was one of the most amazing trips I have ever taken.
My only regret is that it was two fast.  We saw three countries and about 13 cities in three weeks!  So my goal ever since I left there was to take another trip to Europe before I am 35 and spend a month.....I really love to travel slow :)
My fondest memories are walking the streets of Florence with my best friend shopping for leather goods, eating gelato, people watching, sight seeing.....and eating more gelato!  Oh, I cannot forget about Venice....what a gem! The architecture, culture, and people make Venice a truly unforgettable experience. The most insane attraction in Italy is Pompeii, you can see the people who are casted into the ground from when Mount Vesuvious overtook the village - quit eerie!
Hint: When dining in Italy, if you are only having drinks you sit on one side of the restaurant - you cannot mix with the people eating.

IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TO ITALY, PLEASE GO.  DO NOT WAIT A SECOND LONGER BECAUSE YOU NEED TO LIVE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE HAVING EXPERIENCED THE DOLCE VITA.

Since I do not have my photos anymore, I have found similar ones that describe my trip.  Enjoy!
